EQ3 is an imaginative leader in creative furniture and accessory design Our growing company is seeking a Project Coordinator. to be part of their high-energy EQ3 team. This is a Full-Time position located at EQ3's Head Office, at 70 Lexington Park.  The successful will support our Project Managers in organizing our ongoing retail store projects and other strategic business projects.  This individual will oversee all store and warehouse maintenance in the most efficient, professional, cost effective manner while providing support for all company assets. It is expected to be available to travel up to 20 days per year.

 

Skills and abilities required:

 

  • Minimum high school diploma required, college diploma or university degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of project experience on retail development or other related projects,
  • Be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Retail store operations experience considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of building systems, equipment management and energy management is considered an asset.
  • General knowledge of building structure and systems:  HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, glazing, flooring, etc.
  • General knowledge of landlord-tenant relationships and leasing terminology.
  • Basic ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to remain focused when dealing with multiple ongoing issues. 
  • Ability to participate and support others in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution.

 

Main Duties include:

 

  • Support projects such as store refreshes, renovations, or rollouts of company initiatives or programs
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets and expenditures
  • Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained for each project.
  • Provide information and regular support to stakeholders.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
