EQ3 is an imaginative leader in modern furniture and accessory design. We are seeking an extraordinary individual as Retail Store Manager to lead the high-energy retail team in the US Emeryville EQ3 store. This is a full-time position located in Emeryville, California.  As Store Manager, you will provide the professional leadership behind all aspects of the store operation.

Skills and Abilities Required...

  • 3 to 5 years of Retail Management experience
  • Creative and persuasive communication sales style
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to multi-task
  • Demonstrated talent for effective use of POS systems and Microsoft office.
  • Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision, and a strong positive attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written)
  • Able to review income statements and create action plans at the store level to meet monthly budgets and achieve sales targets

Duties Include...

  • Responsible for managing and controlling the entire store's inventory as well as ensuring that the store's budgeted inventory goal is not exceeded
  • Responsible to network locally and create excitement via events, public relations and local advertising. 
  • Identifies key strategic issues and opportunities affecting the business and translates them into achievable action plans
  • Measures his/her own performance results as well as the results of Assistant Manager and Sales Associates against strategic business targets
  • Controls payroll expenses within monthly budgets
  • Achieves budgeted sales goals
  • Reduces turnover-hire costs for qualified Sales Associates
  • Provides suggestions for new strategies of advertising or marketing EQ3 products
  • Delivers organized, timely and effective administrative responsibilities
  • Understands importance of and delivers workplace safety initiatives
  • Recruit and select all new EQ3 employees based on Job Description outlines and Store mandate
