EQ3 is an imaginative leader in modern furniture and accessories. It is seeking an extraordinary individual as a Sales Manager to be part of their high-energy EQ3 team. This is a full-time position located at EQ3 Head Office, at 70 Lexington Park.The successful candidate primary responsibility is to achieve growth in EQ3 business through new and existing wholesale dealers and outside sales opportunities.

Skills and abilities required...

  • Five years' experience in sales to high volume accounts
  • Previous experience in customer focused environment (design industry preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Comfortable presenting information to sales teams, dealers and prospects
  • Ability to train external sales force and dealers on specific product details
  • Comfortable in an ever-changing environment
  • Detail oriented in all aspects of the job
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written)
  • Strong positive attitude
  • Ability to travel to the US and Canada to visit clients and prospects up to twice a month

Duties include...

  • Manage partnerships with dealers (from independent dealers to mass merchants) as well as outside sales partners.
  • Make regular visits to customers and prospects
  • Partner with key sales representatives to identify new markets and accounts for EQ3
  • Develop proposals and partner with sales representative(s) on multiple presentations throughout the year.
  • Develop sales strategy for sales team, including sales associates, inside sales reps and outside sales reps.
  • Manage dealer and rep training
  • Participate in planning the semi-annual furniture show including display strategy, showroom marketing messages, advertising strategy and sales presentation.
  • Manage inside sales representatives.
