EQ3 is an imaginative leader in creative furniture and accessory design.  It is seeking an extraordinary individual for the full time position of Furniture Technician to be part of the high-energy EQ3 US team, located at the Sans Fransisco. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a high standard of repairs service to our customers and be able to deal in a professional and patient manner while addressing customers concerns. 

Skills and abilities required...

  • Experience in the upholstery and building of upholstered furniture an asset but not required/training will be provided
  • Must be able to follow instructions carefully and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to lift/push 60lbs unassisted
  • Punctual to avoid inconvenience for the costumer
  • Problem solving-Improvise on spot to be able to give solution to the customers concerns
  • Good organizational skills, self-motivated, strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (Read, speak and write English)
  • Dependable (Attendance will be considered)

Duties include...

  • Work with EQ3 Retail Customer Service to relay outcome of repairs service require by our customers
  • Contact customer to schedule time to assess quality concerns
  • Execute minor in-home repairs and/or major in-home/in-shop repairs
  • Coordinate and execute parts installations and major assembly projects
  • Responsible for required parts, additional service appointments and/or replacement product.
  • Educate people on their purchase, and provide tips about the care of the product.
